[PS PORTAL] PS포탈 후기 (1)

요즘 집에서 스위치로 동숲을 하다가 문득 플스도 포터블로 하고 싶다는 생각을 했다.
These days, while playing Animal Crossing on the Switch at home, I suddenly thought it would be nice to play PlayStation portably too.

그래서 가만히 생각해보니 소니에서도 PS포탈을 만들어서 팔았던게 기억이 났다.
Then I remembered that Sony had released something called the PS Portal for that exact purpose.

이게 한국은 정발된지 얼마 안되기도 했고 (24년 9월 정발)
아무래도 플스를 가지고 있지 않으면 아무런 효용이 없기 때문에 한국에서는 후기도 생각보다 많지 않았다.
It hasn’t been long since it officially launched in Korea (September 2024).
Since it’s useless without owning a PlayStation, there weren’t as many reviews in Korea as I expected.

생각보다 괜찮다는 주변의 후기만 듣고 일단 질렀다.
Based on a few positive reviews from people around me, I decided to buy it.

쿠팡이랑 네이버쇼핑이랑 검색해봤는데 가격차이가 거의 나지 않아서
로켓배송이 되는 쿠팡으로 주문하고 하루만에 바로 받았다.
I compared prices on Coupang and Naver Shopping, but there wasn’t much of a difference.
So I ordered from Coupang for the Rocket Delivery, and got it the very next day.

패키지는 아주 기분이 좋게 잘 되어 있었다.
누가봐도 포탈이라고 알려주는 첫번째 상자가 있고
The packaging was really satisfying and well put together.
There’s an outer box that clearly tells you it’s the Portal.

이 상자를 열면 깔끔한 내부 상자가 튀어나온다.
Open that box, and a neatly designed inner box slides out.

내부상자에서 다시 본품을 꺼내려면 3단상자를 꺼내야 하는데 손잡이의 역할로
To get the actual device out, you need to pull out a three-layered box, and the handle…

플스의 버튼이 그려져 있다. 아주 귀여운 포인트다.
…has PlayStation buttons drawn on it. A very cute touch.

3단 상자를 꺼내면 이렇게 위로 여는 상자인데 귀퉁이를 살짝 잘라놓아서 열기도 아주 쉽게 되어 있다.
Once you pull out the three-layer box, it opens from the top, and the corners are slightly trimmed for easy opening.

마지막 상자를 열면 이렇게 본품이 깔끔하게 포장되어 있다.
Open the final box, and the device is neatly packed inside.

뚜껑이되는 부분에 충전용 C to C 케이블이 있는데, 난 케이블이 많아서 일단 다시 넣어 놨다.
There’s a USB-C to USB-C charging cable in the lid, but I already have plenty, so I put it back.

본품디자인은 플스 듀얼센스와 거의 유사하다.
The design of the device is almost identical to the DualSense controller.

다만 손잡이에 듀얼센스같은 패턴각인이 없어서 매끈하다
However, the handles don’t have the signature DualSense texture, so it feels smooth.

필름을 떼면 반짝반짝 아주 광이난다.
Once you peel off the protective film, it shines and looks glossy.

 

켜서 세팅을 해보았다.
I turned it on and went through the setup.

집 와이파이에 연결하고 클레르옵스큐르로 테스트를 해봤다.
I connected it to my home Wi-Fi and tested it with Clair Obscur.

일단 꽤나 잘된다.
For now, it works quite well.

며칠 더 써보고 추가 후기를 남겨야 겠다.
I’ll use it for a few more days and write a follow-up review.
