[Ark Raiders] Minor Tips for Complete Newbies

Today I’ll share some beginner tips and fun-moments for Ark Raiders.

1. Learn the Ark Raiders Maps

Every server and player group has different atmospheres. In Squad Mode, it’s common to encounter other Raiders who just shoot first and think later.
→ So to get familiar with maps safely, use solo-queue with a free loadout at first.

To do that:

Select a map and click Play.

Choose Free Loadout and start.

This allows you to play solo queue even when squads are filling.

 

2. Destroy “Thrusters” on Flying Arks

Flying Arks might seem invulnerable if you think their armor can't be penetrated — but that’s a mistake.
Every Ark has a weak point. “Armor Penetration” means your ammo can damage even if you hit their “armor.”

For flying enemies like Hornets or Wasps:

• If you break just one of their two wings, they’ll crash down immediately.

 

3. If Facing Rocket-Tiers, Hide Indoors

Rocket-Tiers are very difficult for beginners because they fly and shoot rockets.
If you get targeted by one, run indoors and stay hidden — they usually can’t track you in enclosed spaces, and their aggro will drop.

 

If you really want to take them down:

• Use precise control to aim, or
• Simply throw two “Wolfpack” grenades — that’s often enough.

 

 

4. Even After “Down”, You Can Return with Esperanza

If you're barely alive and got the “Down” status (near death) while in a building with an elevator:

• You can still teleport out using Esperanza return, as long as you’re not fully killed yet.

5. After Returning with Free Loadout, Buy Augmentation Goods from Vendor

If you reset via “Free Loadout”, your gear returns to base — but you can buy augmentation items from the in-game vendor.
Among the 3 types of augments:

• Plunder Mark – highest inventory capacity, but only light shield allowed
• Tactical Mark – extra quick-use slot, lowest capacity
• Balanced Mark – balanced inventory/capacity between the two above

Even if you’re not sure what to choose, getting at least one augment is better than none.
